The Neurocycle and the Word of God

The Healing Journey

Our natural instincts tell us to stay away, avoid, run from anything that would cause us to feel pain. But the funny thing about pain is as we seek to suppress it, it only causes it to scream even louder. It seeps out into our lives in varying ways. Not always readily identifiable, but always leaving a trail of clues…anxiety, depression, regret, disdain, hopelessness, eating disorders, addictions, self-sabotage, and many others.

You must walk through your healing journey, which includes the ‘digging up’ of things we’ve fought so hard to bury. Yes, digging can be painful, but oh so very worth the journey of finding healing and true freedom.

Beloved, the only way out is through. You must dig those poisonous roots that have touched and diseased other areas of your life. It’s time to heal beloved.

A Time for Everything

3 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

 2  a time to be born, and a time to die;

a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;

 3  a time to kill, and a time to heal;

a time to break down, and a time to build up;

 4  a time to weep, and a time to laugh;

a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

 5  a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;

a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

 6  a time to seek, and a time to lose;

a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

 7  a time to tear, and a time to sew;

a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

 8  a time to love, and a time to hate;

a time for war, and a time for peace.

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8;11

Join, catalyst for transformation, Jessica Hurtado as you link arms and walk through the strongholds to the other side of this thing called Healing.

I know you are tired of going around the same mountain. Trust me, I had set up camp in my wilderness, thinking this was it. But God is a God of unending love and unending mercies. He does not want us to stay stuck in a wilderness season for the rest of our days….

“You have stayed at this mountain long enough.” Deuteronomy 1:6

If you are thinking, ‘I want to, but I’m scared.’ or ‘I don’t think I can do this.’ Let me be the voice that encourages you and says, “You are well able.” “Healing is possible.” “Freedom is real.” Christ not only died to bring you salvation, which was done in an instant, as you received Him as Lord and Savior, but you were also called to be set apart, to be set free…and this, beloved, is a process. Trust the Lord and lean on Him as He leads you to healing.

Do miracles still exist? Absolutely!

Can God restore you in an instant? 100%, Yes!

But there are those moments when He calls us to trust Him as we partner with giftings He has placed in others to help us along our journey.

I have been on a mission to experience true transformation in my own life to be able to reach back and help as many Christian Women break free from the mental prisons built by trauma, false belief systems, and the many lies spoken over them.

I know, firsthand, what it is like to be held hostage by your own thoughts. I know what it is like to have a “small” issue that snowballs into a massive avalanche that wreaks havoc in ways you’d never imagined. I know what it is like to have anxiety hold you a prisoner to the things you once enjoyed or things you longed to do.

But I also know what it is like to get a hold of that one thing that was missing. That one thing that bridges the gap that nothing else could seem to close. The missing piece of the puzzle that could bring it all together.

 It’s time to break free and stay free.

“For whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” John 8:36

It is time to arise as the Called, the Beloved, the Cherished Daughter that Christ has called you to be! You must be grounded in His truth and take your power back. It’s time to remove the labels that call you anxious, depressed, less than, broken, not enough, insecure and so many others. None of these speak God’s truth over your life.

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

You were never meant to live as a mere survivor. You were born to thrive!

My heart is to help bring freedom and healing to all those God has called me to serve. I aim to steward the assignment God has given me with excellence. To help His precious daughters find transformation as the Chosen ones of God.

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain.”

John 15:16

True lasting transformation can only be found through the renewal of the mind.

“Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”

Romans 12:2

Are you ready to live a transformed life?

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!”

Deuteronomy 30:19
